I spent years running and hiding from the spirit world.

As a child, I would sense invisible individuals around but didn’t feel that I could tell anyone about it. When I was in my late teens, a friend introduced me to the world of mediumship. I realized then that I wasn’t the only one who had my experiences. But as someone who was also very skeptical, I remained very quiet.

6 years after that college introduction, I was again drawn to learning more about mediumship. For 3 years, I quietly consumed any and every book I could find about mediumship (and many of them turned up in unexpected places). The subtle, but spiritual, experiences kept occurring but with more intensity. Then just a few months before the passing of my doggie, I had an undeniable spiritual experience while traveling. Later that year, a friend who had recently lost a daughter shared details about her reading with a well-known medium. I had never told anyone, but I had been wanting to see a medium for years. I just never looked into it because I was scared of booking with a fraud. Intrigued by what my friend was saying, I booked a session with this medium. This medium relayed very personal information that she could not have possibly known. She also recommended that I take a mediumship development class, read certain books, and attend specific conferences. Again, doubt prevented me from listening; it took me another 3 years to take heed. When I finally did, my “weird” experiences in the past finally made sense. In total, it took me 7 years after fully realizing that I was a medium to actually work with my gift.

Coming from a Caribbean background didn’t make the acceptance process any easier. Part of my dedication to mediumship involves breaking down the stigmas in BIPOC communities.

I’ve studied under the tutelage of Pardis Partow, Melissa Waite Stamps, Rose Agrusti, and Lee VanZyl. It was Lee’s Advanced Mediumship Mentorship program at the Montclair Psychic School that gave me the final push to work as a professional medium. Nevermind that the spirit world had been nudging me for years to do so! Unfortunately, uncertainty can exist even among those who have the gift of mediumship. Working with others slowly helped me accept my abilities. Like any dedicated medium, I continue my studies in the field.

Fun facts about me: I have been to 40 countries and 41 states, and lived in two other countries. In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, walking, doing home workout tapes, consuming and producing various forms of art, and spending time with my pup.
